A league bowler for 36 years, had a career
high game of 274 in the 1956-57 season, and received the St. Paul WBA award for high three
game total of 679 during the 1961-62 season. A member of the City championship team in
1963-64 and on the All-City team the same year. In 1974 was actual champion of the St.
Paul 600 Club and served as Vice- President for three years. Member of many league
championship teams and held various league offices. Started one of the first Junior
bowling leagues in St. Paul in 194l when Junior bowling was just being established
nationwide. A member of the Ways and Means committee for the 1950 WIBC tournament and
Convention bid; chairperson for St. Paul WBA 25 th Anniversary City Awards
Dinner Elected to the St. Paul WBA board and served 16 years; nine years as a director and
seven years as Sergeant-at-Arms. On the Hall of Fame committee for nine years and served
as vice-president of that group. Has competed in 17 WIBC tournaments and served as
National delegate 16 times.
