Involved with the sport of bowling for over 30 years. Member of Minnesota State Championship Team for the 1976-77 season. Member of Minneapolis City Doubles Team in 1974 and St. Cloud Kegle Doubles Team with Hall of Famer Mike Schmid. Individual championships include the 1977 Tribune Classic, the St. Paul City Singles for the 1981-82 season, the 1986 St. Paul Masters, the 1987 Minnesota State Singles, and four CBA titles. Was State Scratch All Events Champion in 1987. Won the Minnesota State Singles championship in 1987 with a 739 and the Minnesota State Actual All Events championship in 1989 with a 2017. Was second in the St. Paul Masters two times and second in the Tribune Classic once. Member of the St. Paul All City Team three times and also on the second team three times. Member of the CBA All Star Team once. Led the St. Paul City and Minnehaha Classic Leagues in high average. Member of many league championship teams including Hafner's Major, Minnehaha Classic, St. Paul City, White Bear Dodge Masters, St. Paul All Star, and Schneider's Classic. Has average of 194 for 27 ABC Tournaments. Represented Minnesota at BPAA Open in Madison Square Garden in the 70's and finished 64th. Bowled in the last All Star Tournament in Northbrook, IL in the 70's. Has rolled seven 300's and thirteen 299's. Has over one hundred 700 or more series with a personal high of 799. Career high league average is 221 during the 1986-87 season.
