Started Bowling at the age of 13 in the
junior program. Member of the St. Paul City championship Team (Schmidt's Beer) in 1968-69,
Minnesota State championship Team in 1967 and Minnesota State championship Scratch Team in
1972. Member of the St. Paul All City team five times including King in 1965-66. Won St.
Paul City All Events titles back-to-back with 1841 and 1900. Captured the St. Paul Singles
Classic once during the 1960's. Has rolled two 300s, three 299s and two 298s. Has over 100
700 or more series with a personal high of 795 during 1962-63 which ranked as the state
high for that year. Has a composite lifetime average of 200+, won the St. Paul Classic
League average title several times including a high of 209; won the St. Paul All Star
League average title four times including a high of 211 and the BPA Traveling League
average title with an average of 213. Had high finishes in the St. Paul Masters, Petersen
Classic in Chicago, placed third in the Bowler's Journal at Rochester, NY in 1966 and has
a 190+ average for some fifteen ABC tournaments. Three times represented Minnesota in the
National All Star Tournament. Won on the locally televised program "All Star
Bowling" several times and captured the Minneapolis City Singles title once.
