Has captured many league titles since
beginning bowling in 1959. A member of the Greater St. Paul Men's Bowling Association
Board since 1971 and it's President in 1987. With Hall-of Famers Joe Kolodziej and Bob
Schabert, originated the St. Paul Masters Tournament. Has been the St. Paul Masters
Tournament Director for eighteen years. Originated the St. Paul Senior's Mixed Doubles
Tournament in 1986 and has since then been that tournament's Director. Was the "St.
Paul 700 Club" Secretary from 1976 to 1979. Presently the "King Pin" of the
"St. Paul 700 Club". Has been the Secretary of the Minnehaha Classic League
since 1973. Was the intramural bowling coach at Highland Senior High School for teen
years.
Personal bowling accomplishments include a final high season average to-date of 212, one 300 game, a high series of 778 and more than fifty 700-or-more series. A member of the 1981-82 St. Paul Honorable Mention All-City team, shared the "St. Paul City" Doubles title with Mike Rech in 1967-68 and was a member of the "Minnesota State" championship Team in 1978.
