Tom has been an active St. Paul league bowler for 36 years.  He is a manager for an international computer consulting company and is married with two children and two grandchildren.  Tom is a certified bowling coach with 12 years involvement in young bowling leagues (1978 – 83) at Maplewood Bowl and (1996 - present) at Flaherty’s Arden Bowl.  His high game is 300, high three games is 796, high league average is 218, and he has compiled over 300  700 series. Tom has 22 championship titles to his credit.

At a national level, Tom holds two titles that include Peterson Classic Doubles Champion in 1974 and the Big Ten Champion in 1966.  At the Minnesota State level, Tom holds two State Team Champion titles in 1987-88 (Midway Pro Bowl team), which won the “actual” and “handicap” team events. He also has five St. Paul City actual titles: All Events in 1978, Team Event (Midway Pro Bowl team) in 1978, Doubles Event in 1979-80, Singles Event in 1978 and St. Paul Masters Champion in 1978. Other tournament titles include: eight team titles - Fargo (2), Hibbing (3), Minnehaha (1) and St. Cloud (2); two singles titles at Minnehaha Lanes and Holy Cross; two doubles titles at Minnehaha and one all events title at Minnehaha. In 1998,
Tom led the Venetian Inn team in setting the 9th highest Minnesota State team score (a 3628 total) with a 770 series, finishing with a 300 game. Tom has competed in State and City tournaments for 34 years and this year will mark 31 years competing in the ABC Tournament.
